Hey matt, I stickied this thread so its at the top of the forum page now, and I updated the thread title.

Lots of great ideas there guys, and the honor system should be good for now until we start getting more people involved. As for bbqing, I think we should start-off simple and save that for another g2g, maybe once we get more people into this to coordinate that, I think once the bass are in full season, we might have an easier time getting people during the warmer months.

Food is expensive on the island so pack your own forsure. I don't mind paying for somethings but I hate the feeling of being ripped off!

I see that John, thanks! Could yeah change it to derby instead of tournament? I've changed everything else to derby think it sounds better. And that sounds good about the BBQ. I should have everything else done tonight.

Still looking for someone who is really good with microsoft word who can make a better looking header than i can please??

And what would be a good designated spot on central islands for us to meet at? Should we say just off to the right of the ferry, n look for people with fishing rods n tackle boxes? lol.

n yeah keeping it shoreline fishing only will make it a lot more fair.

The dragon boat stands are a good central spot! Right in the middle.

Thanks Yawn, i thought when said stands was referred to as stands for holding the boats, no for sitting in, so i clued into it last night with my buddy here who has been there,lol.

hey porter86, about handing out little slips to be in the pictures with the fish, i suggest you hand out a few to each person as they're likely to fall in the water

yeah thats wat i was thinking, maybe using a bit thicker paper as well.

or maybe a thin piece of wood with the OFF written on it with permanent marker, those would be easy to do, just buy some thin pieces of wood they sell at homehardware

Yeah I was debating that with my buddy. But thats going to cost money, the paper isnt going to cost me any cause my dad hasall the types of paper i need. i really have contiplated about the wood, cause that would make things much easier.

Count me in if there is going to be a tourney. If you decide to go ahead with boats, I'm definately in since I have one and would accomodate 1 or 2 fellow anglers in my ride. However by the looks of it, boats aren't going to be involved, only shore fishing.
