yeah you need some pass to fish spots in essa or something.

Would a outing on bigger water during prime time not be a better plan? why not do the one in November I was talking about.

You need one for Essa Centennial , Nottawasaga Fishing Park, Don Ross Fishing Park.

Ugh.. guys from CRA are getting together to fish a GB trib this weekend. We can discuss and have something posted Saturday night or Sunday with whats going to happen either date moved or another location.

Upper closes in a couple days
the only stretches of the notty that close are way, way up. there's like 100+km of open, big-water river to fish year-round.
depending on how big the group is, there are a few suitable spots in both lower and upper stretches. the run has been good this year so far.

the beaver is useless for anything post-september 30. unless you want to play catch the angler and fish with 9000 other dudes on ~1km stretch of water lol. both beaver and bighead are far better spring haunts than fall. notty is the opposite as it's usually blown to kingdom-come once the spring rolls around

Maybe lots of fish are being caught other places on the Notty, but I live on the lower part and there are very few being caught near where I live. On a w/e I normally see 10-15 vehicles parked to go fishing. On Sat there were 2-3.

That's a good thing dude.. ;) lol. I'm sure I must have seen you around at one time or another. You live in the beach?

IMO there's really only one place I can think of that would be suitable to host a large group of guys/girls. It's fairly well known and it wouldn't be exposing anyone's hidden gem honey hole.

Is this for Pin Fishing only ?
I only have fly rods :p

If it's the case, I will come by just to watch you guys for a bit. Interested to learn more about pin fishing.

No not just pin. You can use whatever you want im sure some guys will be doing fly, single hand, switch or spey depending where we are going to head.

I'm thinking the Credit might be a good bet with numbers of fish. Usually run earlier then the Notty depending on conditions. The rain this week will surely help getting some in along with more browns and fresh boots.

And by then most of the loogans are off the water.

I am down with the credit. my favorite lake o trib, close to home for everyone too.
Im also down with GB/H tribs as well

might want to look up near meadowvale conservation areas too. plenty of water and the action might be better up there if the runs keep going the way they are.

will scout more closer to the day to see
