Perfect chrome, you know when that fish doesn't have a mark on it and its so purple and silver it nearly blinds ya, not to mention fights like a horse. lets see your most beautiful chromer

Got this one today fishing the willy for my first time, had me running.

Beautiful Fish!
Not perfect though ..... there is a little mark by the bottom fin about 1/1000 of an inch.

Other than "THAT" .... its a good healthy and clean looking piece of Steel

thats a well conditioned fish man another cookie cutter 8 pound lake O steelie, healthy alewife population means BIG fish....first time at willy wonka fish factory eh... what did you think?. whats the water level like it was up a bit and coloured on thursday but drops really fast.

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback! and oh ya Blair? you that picky about your woman too? hahah jk man thanks! and Georgianbaydrifter yea it was my first time there, there was a nice stack of fish that were hitting all day but rather slowly. I didn't mind the creek but the banks were really muddy and the water was crystal clear and I got wet socks as soon as I got there (need some waders soon). Wind was blowing down the water and I was constantly mending my line :x I went again on Saturday and hooked into some more nice fish and finished up the day at Bowville and me and my buddy got decent numbers of both bows and browns. Hope you guys had some luck if you went out at all this weekend!

never fished at bowmy does it put out consistently? we keep talking about going over but always seem to get bogged down at the wilmot, its tough to leave fish in search of fish. i keep hearing about the rape pool there you ever fished it?

*SMILES* thankyou for knowing I was just joking. It really was such a good looking fish, I just had to be a smartass and say some "little thing" wasnt perfect.
By the way ... I of course made that up. I didnt see a single mark on that sweetie!

I'm sure you noticed (Old Threads & Posts) or will discover:

I LOVE HEARING & SEEING about other peoples adventures.
So good to know how many others share a passion for the sport.

May seem weird, but one of my favourite posts to read are the SKUNK STORIES.
I can relate *SMILES*

Anyone who has the BALLS (Truth) to talk about their "misadventures" is top notch in my books.
WE ALL SKUNK, yet still enjoy the outing!

So when people share that experience, I can REALLY RELATE!
cause ... I get SKUNKED A LOT!

Simple reality of fishing.

Anyway ... keep with the nice posts ... and as always:

GOOD LUCK out THERE!

Bville was the first place I caught a bow and no ive never seen or fished that pool you're talking about. At some holes though It gets really crowded at times with a lot of stubborn anglers who fish it all day. By ten o clock the fish there have usually seen hundereds of every kind of roe drift by so they usually stop hitting or slow right down. I love walking the length of the creek and fishing plenty of holes instead of just one. The water is faster at bville then Wilmont I find, which makes it a little easier and you can walk all the way up past the dam coming across consistent holes. Ive only been skunked once there so I definitely think it puts out consistently.

And Blair, it seems like you have a ton of experience fishing great lake tribs and its great learning from people like you that have learned through years of enjoying the sport. You're right about getting skunked, it does happen a lot and to everybody but you can learn a lot from not catching the fish, sometimes even more than if you were catching them. So id have to agree with you and say I love hearing peoples "skunk stories" as well. That was a nice fish though wasnt it but I guess nothings perfect:) Thanks guys! and maybe ill see you out there sometime

Awesome catch
