Phill Robertson !! What's your take on the issue

I am not a religious man nor an anti gay but I fully support his right to his opinion , beliefs and to express them ..

As for A&E and GLAAD what gives you the right to suspend or fire someone for there opinion just because it's not the same as yours ???

I hope the Robertson's kibosh the show with A&E and go with another network and see A&E crash and burn with there intervention and hoarders to try to carry the network

I think that the show will not record any more shows without Phill involved. If A&E want the show they will have to back down.

I don't watch the show but what happened to free speech? The guy expressed his opinion if you don't agree, find some air time and express yours. People need to grow thicker skin. People always take offense to something they don't agree. Nature of the beast.

I personally think it looks worse on A&E for not doing the proper research on the familys values before they idolized them. They have strong Biblical beliefs and if anyones truly read the bible you'll know its take on homosexuality.

I agree, he is free to express his own opinion. And Just like what was said above, why would they put him in a spot like that when they know him and his family are strong Christians?

I think it's totally wrong to suspend him, It's a reality show about a Godly family from Louisiana! It's his right to express his opinion.

He has the right to free speech, he shouldn't be penalized for it. They are devout Christians, and it is commonly known that the religion doesn't support homosexuality. A&E should have known this when making the show. It's no ones fault but their own.

I like PHILS catfishing style (see now its fishing related) and on a side note I heard CMT has offered Phil and the gang a spot in there line-up.

And the interview that Phil was giving, was for some Mag, not on the show. so in my mind A&E has no say.

At the end of the day. You put the show on any network and they will rate. They have good number of followers.I don't even understand how all of this getting blown out of proportion.

I read a report this morning that A&E knew about what he said in the interview and chose to do nothing until it hit the news stands then took action !!!!

The hole idea of the show was to be America laughing at a bunch of hill billy red necks but they are so much more than that and we relate with them and they have grow to be an entity all there own and too big for A&E to control and this was a ploy to real the Roberts family back in to there grip
