can i use a centre pin on a spinning rod :?: i found a guy selling a trotting reel whatever that is for like 75 bucks could i use that with my shimano convergence 10ft rod

whats a mooching reel :?:staffman said:Make sure it isn't a mooching reel as they won't work as a centre pin reel. There are a couple of cheap pins listed at www.floatfishing.net in the centre pin section of the classifieds.
