So do you guys tie on the rig with another swivel or line on line?
So simple.. how did i not think of this??TroutCommander said:If you put some small slits in the foam you can slip the swivel end in there
i have the float and shots on the main line tied to swivel tied to hook.FisherGirl said:So do you guys tie on the rig with another swivel or line on line?
I have slits as well as a piece of tube inside---the tube stiffens up the kit.Shawarma said:So simple.. how did i not think of this??
Cancel the dowel comment then. Slits it is!
bts.. i totally read that "slits" as something else and was seriously confused for about 2 seconds thinking "why am i putting slu... ohhh slits!!!"
So that means you have to add the split shots every time? That doesn't seem like it would save you THAT much timeShawarma said:i have the float and shots on the main line tied to swivel tied to hook.
The swivel and hook are the pre-tied rig then while on location, main line to swivel gets tied.
I'd rather add split shots which are pretty easy and quick to do than to tie knots on those little hooks and swivels on the river. That shyte is time consuming!FisherGirl said:So that means you have to add the split shots every time? That doesn't seem like it would save you THAT much time
Split shots are the most time consuming part of my rig. Tying the hooks and swivels are easy. Ok how about this, next time u tie on my split shots and Ill tie your knots.Shawarma said:I'd rather add split shots which are pretty easy and quick to do than to tie knots on those little hooks and swivels on the river. Besides, split shots fall off and move around anyways (at least on my line) so you're messing with them regardless, no?
