I went to this park again for carp on May 14,16 & today.Here is very short report

May 14 2008
We reached there around 7am.Weather was nice & sunny.Not so many people fishing.Caught my second eating carp using same technique i used in my previous catch.It was great day.Was there till 9:45am only.There were lots of carp biting & most of the people at least caught1.It was great day.We returned home happily.End of the report you will see carp preparation & recipe.

May 16 2008
Reached there around 7am.Weather was sunny but later became cloudy.Most of the guys from yesterday were there.I did not had any carp this day but got 1 perch & 1 sucker instead.The perch was small but i took it home.I wanted to see how it taste.The carp were not biting much today.

May 17 2008
I reached today morning around 7:20am.There were lots of people fishing when we reached there.Some1 was already there by my favorite spot.The weather was overcast and later it started raining.Saw only few carp being landed.I was skunked today.The amazing thing was that one around 11 year old kid was fishing 1st time and caught 20 lb carp using warm.Other then that nothing else great was caught.There were at least 15-30 people fishing.

Carp Kebab preparation
Clean & make fish steak
Ingredients
black pepper
lemon
green onion
green peeper
salt
coriander
1 potato
Note:Ingredients qty varies by amount of fish meat used.
Preparation
Before you mix all ingredients above take small bowl and put little salt,little black pepper,little garlic paste & little cumin powder.Mix it and then rub all over fish steak.Then fry light in oil.After little fry,remove all bones and mix all meat.Then add all ingredients above and mix it again nicely.Then make small meat balls and flat it.

Frying procedure
Before you start to fry take 1 small bowl.break 2-3 egg in bowl and blend it properly.Take another plate and put some bread crumbs.Dip the fish steak in egg liquid and rub over bread crumbs and fry.Fry until you see it ready & enjoy.Note:Fry in medium heat

wow, carp burgers... i never would've thought.

idesign. be cautious.
according to the guide to eating ontario sport fish released by the ontario government, carp are very unhealthy to eat and have the most contaminants.
if you're going to continue to eat fish, make sure that you eat the smaller ones cause the big ones contain the most accumulated levels of toxins and pollutants.

stick with crappie, sunfish and perch and you'll be fine as they will always have less toxins and taste better than large predatory fish.

remember that mercury is present in the flesh and is not possible to get rid of. :|

small carp is only good to eat.big ones have lots of fat and when u cut them the meat looks like shit
