Great fish, hardware in the tribs is so much more fun than roe!

That's a beauty looking salmon.

That's no people for there someone told me they counted 95 guys down one side below the dam this year. It is possible that there are a couple extra because of a report of steel being caught a another forum.

If you are going to fish on a weekend just prepare yourself for battle If you don't like lots of people there are all kinds of rivers a relatively short drive away that hold steelhead. Its a great fishery and has always attracted a lot of people I do the vast majority of of my steelhead fishing on that river and prefer it even with all the people to most other places I fish.

Landed my first Chinny of this year yesterday, not a full run but found a couple spots!

Ill post my pics till after the run is over.
ill second to that, found fish 2 weeks ago, first outing was okay, nothing landed but hard fights were lost. last outing was crazy, limited fish but they were eager to play around, ill wait for the run to be over then ill post my pics and hopefully a few vids. as for now ill keep it on the low, the run will eventually come along. i know a spot or two but rather keep it in the low til the run is over.

From pier, they will hit spoons up to 1oz (I don't use spoons heavier than 1oz). They will also hit crankbaits.

You don't have to go small for browns...consider people trolling out on the lake catches browns on the same spoons, flasher/fly, and herring strips that they use for salmon.

A 3/4oz little cleo is a little less than 3" long...I can tell you that my brown hit something that was larger than 3".
