Saturday Brownies

Spent the morning in the upper reaches locally.
real cold morning but it got warm fast when the sun came out
just wading and drifting various untill i found something that worked.
turns out today they wanted the green wooly bugger. once i got that locked in i was hitting browns almost every 20 minutes or so.

i'm really starting to enjoy brown trout. very beautiful fish. its a shame i never really tried to focus on them specifically untill this spring.
they've always been a kind of coincidental catch for me while targeting other species until now.
been missing out on tons of fun all these years lol
