I've found some very skinny trickles nearby from which I've pulled ample brookies.ChromeAddict said:That looks like a lot of fun. I wish we had creeks like that around here.
was about to say looks like a great brown spot. reminds me of a video posted here last year showing huge browns comming out of an irrigation ditch just as smallsalmotrutta said:I've found some very skinny trickles nearby from which I've pulled ample brookies.
But that size of brookie from such a narrowing is amazing. Browns I've been able to get like that, but most of the brookies I get in water that small are tiny in comparison.
there are tiny outlets like that around rouge river - little rouge creek but i think it's no fishing. a bit wider though. 4ft to 6ft wide and since it's north of the dam, i would say brookies country...ChromeAddict said:That looks like a lot of fun. I wish we had creeks like that around here.
Brutal landing and demise of that fish. Wish I had been there with a 2 x 4. Someone else would have died!artimus001 said:

There are trout like that in many creeks. Mostly U will find 6-8 inch fish. When one that size is caught it is a spawner, let it go!
