250 pack for $40.. I'll split that pack 50/50 with you if you order it. Let me know.
I was just about to say the same thing. 1000 is about $90.

I wanna order but I hate how these sellers have it setup that I gotta pay customs too.

Once I figure out where I wanna purchase from, I'll split it with you guys.

I've had my Simms boots for a year now and its very slippery, my grip is getting low.

Hey guys. I bought some online on Sunday actually. Somewhere on EBAY. Yup, shipping and customs is BS but, that is how she blows.

It ended up costing me 37$ USD for 250. I figure 15 a boot plus a back up set =60 per person. I spread the word with two fly fishers at my office, my dad, and a buddy. All 250 spoken for. Someone is getting short handed too haha. Knowing what I know , I should have got 1000 and helped all you guys out too.

I will do a full review once I got em'

The heads are almost double the height of the sheet metal screws. The sheet metal screws also only come in 1/2inch with only the bottom 1/4 threaded. These Kold Kutters are 100% threaded and come in 3/8" which is a bit safer. (For comparison, all simms stuff is only 1/4 inch). Once you start driving 1/2 inch screws into your boots, your going to hit your foot eventually lol.

Not to mention, the heads on these look like they will grip anything MUCH better than the flat top sheet metal screws. As for the carbide bits on the Simms studs... over rated IMHO.

Maybe a new product for fishheads canada?

What about the cleat? Any point to those?

Cleats are better than studs. Its just more surface area. However, cleats are super expensive. 10 cleats for 40 bucks. so 80 dollars to do your two boots? Insane. And its not like Simms is invincible, those will wear down too and need to be replaced eventually (however not as often).

Do you know wher you can puck up the kold kuttets in the GTA? I have been after them for quite a while to no avail

James I use those for ice fishing on early ice when theres no snow...they work pretty good for that but I don't know if they could handle walking over boulders and such...I think they might not stay in place
