Get a sitter for that child and let's do it!

Do you change per pool? I use a bead and bag. Then I'll try a bead and/or pinkie. Lastly, I will try a fly.

When fishing is slow, how often do you guys switch beads?
For me it depends on where I am fishing. I find on some GB tribs you can have a hot colour and then 10 minutes later some other colour is catching. I like to change up quite a bit if im fishing just a bead but if it's a bead and bag I could care less. To be honest im convinced that the colour doesn't matter as much as the cloudiness of the bead. Some days a clear bead works well and some days a milky looking bead is the ticket. That being said, I never fish without having at least some bags tied up. There are still many times when roe bags are hot. As everyone seems to be saying as well, don't forget to have an assortment of other baits that don't imitate eggs. You never know what will work.

This is just my opinion on the subject, im sure everyone varies slightly.

my new set up, since 2013 for crap ditch runs. float on mainline go to a snap (just snap) to a swivel to bait. now how do i change beads you ask. i have about 20 pre tired beads on leader. all i do is takes off the swivel and the new leader with swivel replaces it. you only need max 5 swivels for 5 colours. or X amount for X amount of colours you pre tied and reuse it till, either hook snaps, leader snaps, and that is how i quick change on the water if i have to.

what is the reason for the snap you ask? it is to bust a lure on a go if i have to, because kwikfish and spinners saved my day that i would be skunked on float gear. i dont take two rods on the weekends for obvious reasons.

i dont beleive in under sizing everything to catch more fish. even on slow days. i believe in presentation, colouring, actual bait matters more. small weights and swivels wont catch you any more fish.

from what i understood, fluorocarbon is invisible. so i would assume all diameters are invisible.

Usually I'll do the same, but have the bead a few inches up from the egg saaac. If the float starts going down and bead drops, Ill take off the bag right away and drift the bead by itself.

CJR: Have you ever caught any fish on the 14mm? They look like you couldn't even fit them in a fishes mouth.

LordMyKiss: Have the same bead box from CAC, love it! Definitely a sweet selection you have there. Might post my box later.
