Thays because your trying for them in areas where you find them in the SUMMER. When water temps drop vegitation dies and the body of water "Turns over". Like I said try differemt areas and different tactics then you normaly would in the summer.

Yep, I have found exactly the same thing as Catfish. The areas where I was banging Bass and Pike all Summer are gone gone gone (even the carp are gone). I'll find the little SOB's...lol...probably next summer! That's part of the fun of it, trying to find the little buggers...it's not like they can escape the water, just have to find the water they are hiding in!
