I go to bronte creek, theirs a public free parking at shell park just past rebecca st bridge, look closely for the driveway its basically beside a house. I have met some real idiout their close to the bridge that just gut a ton of fish and leave carcases, I talk to MNR this season and they will be down their alot, so theirs a heads up guys. If you walk of the creek and go around the first bend theirs some amazing pools for fly, or drift fishing. Hope this helps, and look forward to meeting any of you who are down my way. I spent close to $200 at the sportsman show this year getting ready for the season, should be a great one.

Moved since but in the later years the runs did start to drop off.
Boyne runs right close by also not as good as the pine in my opinion but both rivers are full of deep pools to target!
I love fishing the Pine just north of Everett. Very Clean water. It's getting harder to find access to rivers like this with all the NO Tresspassing signs on all the private lands. I never fished the Boyne, doesn't look as impressive as the Pine.
thx V-Ball for the infoV-Ball said:I'll be trying the Rouge River this year. There is a fish ladder all the way up at Milne Dam at Markham Road (Hwy. 48) & Hwy 7 in Markham. I know they harvest rainbows from there for the Ringwood fish hatchery. On April 26th you'll be able to fish that whole stretch of river. Please note that there is no fishing 25 Meters from the dam. Good Luck on Saturday everyone.
