how many fish did u see.did u see any fish jumping by damp.let us know

I seen around 5-6 it was near the big bridge and and when i walked closer to the side of the river they sped off, i didn;t walk up to the dam, but they looked like trout to me.

How big were they?

I bet they were suckers in the Humber right now. I highly doubt Trout would be in there this early unless all the rain messed with there internal clock?

Hey Spinninreel:

Trout prefer cold water and CANNOT tolerate a wide variety of water temps I don't know where u came up with that. Cold water == more oxygen == Trout.

"Rainbows and steelhead occur in well-oxygenated lakes and streams where the temperature normally doesn't rise above 12°C in summer."

Water too warm you won’t find trout.

Rainbow are the most tolerate of the trout species and can tolerate water into the high 70's, and with the cool summer we have had, it could be possible for that river to have those temperatures. That is what I was trying to say!
