Good thing you had a lot of fun at the game.

4GB worth and you've only used TV mode?

You should have shot some with AV mode + ISO 400 maybe. Since anything higher would give too much noise with these little point and shoot digicams.

My brother bought a Canon Digital Rebel XS on Boxing day. He is new to photography too...
I told him to just buy a high end P&S like Canon G10 or something... but no~~~
I told him many many times... if you don't take a lot of time to learn the DSLR... quality of his shots won't be any better than typical P&S.

Anyways.... Openfire,,, you should buy a cheap but good lens... Canon 50mm F1.8 prime lens. You can probably get a used for under $100 since new is about $120. Fast lens sure does help newbie like myself shoot little better.

Oh what am I saying... I am a newbie myself.

ENJOY

I used TV mode because... I don't know why really.

But here is an action shot... not the best quality.

yah...Mikey is bang on about the "nifty fifty" Canon 50mm f/1.8. Best bang for the buck lens out there.
I'm picking mine up the end of this week.

I got a ? please.
So i finally got back up north found the camera and pulled the memory card so I could bring it to work use the card reader upload and finally show the fish pixs etc.

Now I get this msg, needs formating any solutions. Gunna try putting the card into another camera and try it that way tonight but frig wait a week to get the card now can't read the dam card. And yes I checked the camera as to which pixs were on the mem card.

Anyone come accross this before?

my camera can't upload onto my computer but my dads can so i all ways put my memory card into my dads camera and get to load it on to the computer, it's damn annoying as he's allways to busy and i have wait.

YAWN, is it a relatively new camera?

My camera currently is able to use SDHC (secure digital high capacity) cards. However, many card readers (older ones) are unable to read anything on it. I have to use a USB cable and connect it to the camera in order to upload pics. Yeah...it's a pain.
