    Best Knot For Fluorocarbon

Davey knot and trilene knot are both great, I wouldn't suggest a clinch knot, it has a lower breaking point with fluoro. Great for mono and braid if tied correctly though.

    Recommend Some Good Muskie Setups

The Fenwick glass rod would make a good trolling rod...but it wouldn't be suitable for casting, it's too soft. Same with the reel, good for trolling but I wouldn't recommend it for casting.

    Recommend Some Good Muskie Setups

Bow Man There are cheaper options I can recommend but like I stated earlier you are better off spending your money once rather then twice. If you had to choose between a better quality rod vs a better quality reel I would choose the reel. The Okuma EVX musky series rods have many options...

    Recommend Some Good Muskie Setups

Hi Bow Man I can certainly help you out with a Musky setup. First off, if you are serious about getting into musky fishing be smart from the beginning. DO NOT BUY CHEAP CRAP! Do not buy an Abu Garcia C3 unless you are under a very strict budget. They are not designed to handle heavy lines or...

How can I get my daughter a musky on Rice Lake?

I can help you out, If you are a lazy fisherman and like to troll then I would suggest using baits like a 8" believer or grandma in a perch pattern, both of these baits come in straight and jointed options. During the summer months I would troll from 4mph and faster, it may seem fast but this is...

    Beausoleil Island musky - tips

I heard about that fact during a presentation from a well known musky guide, the actual official number is a lot less than .01fish/acre. Georgian Bay is near 3.7 million acres in size so if you do the math it's actually insane to think that these fish ever get caught. I will try to find a link...

    Beausoleil Island musky - tips

Navarium, if you talk to many top muskie anglers, especially anglers who fish Georgian Bay, most will tell you that you can learn more in 8 hours on the water with a seasoned professional than you will in a few years on your own. Georgian Bay is a very complex body of water and can be...

    Beausoleil Island musky - tips

Not at all, I'm simply trying to help out navarium. I have fished Georgian Bay for years and it is a very difficult body of water to fish. Compared to the kawarthas where there can be upwards of 5 muskies per acre in prime spots, Georgian Bay may at best have .01 musky per acre. I'm simply...

    Beausoleil Island musky - tips

Go out with a guide, Graham Bristow of GEORGIAN BAY MUSKY CHARTERS is one of the best on the bay. I fish Georgian Bay on a regular basis and musky fishing there can be very difficult if your are new to fishing that area. It is worth the money. http://www.ontariomusky.com/
