    no walleye .... but

It actually goes great.. even when I fished Quinte for opener there was me and a buddy of mine and we were fully loaded... It's actually ridiculous how much stuff we had for 2 guys. I'm sure you guys know what I mean... We still were able to rip around, no problem. I'm glad I bought it.

    Anyone also GOLF?

I did for about 4 summers but stopped... now I ususally golf only once per summer and that's at the company golf tournament.. other than that.. it's a lack of time issue. I do enjoy playing though.

    creek fly fishing

Ya it's Duffin's creek.. it's a great little creek just for walking and throwing some flies at the pools...You don't have to cast super far so it makes it easier too... You usually end up getting a shipload of little stuff, but every once and a while... you get a surprise... and btw that...

    memorable fishing experiences

Hey Chibi, I know you would agree, but I have sooo many stories... my latest one though is taking my 3yr old nephew to the "pay as you go" trout pond (just north of Uxbridge). We cought a bunch of rainbow trout... cost me about 50$, but watching him run around with the net screaming you got...

    creek fly fishing

Hey, Went out this morning to a small creek/river north of Pickering. It's a little different fishing than last weekend when I got that muskie on Scugog...but still awesome.. I cought a dozen or so small trout with my fly rod.. they weren't biting as much as I've seen them do, but it was...

    Hunting and Fishing

It's not bad.. for me I guess cause my dad owned a slaughter house in N-B when I was growing up, so I've seen it and done it lots of times with cows and pigs. It's not pretty either though I guess, don't get me wrong..If you've never seen it, there is a lot of fluid involved.. You just...

    Hunting and Fishing

I know you guys have heard this before... but it's not about necessarily killing something, but more about just being out there...I've seen so many cool things while sitting up in a tree stand I can't even believe it sometimes... and I've gotten lucky with a few deer along the way.. I remember...

    Anyone here keep aquarium fish?

That's crazy!! :| That sounds like another full time job to me..lol. It's probably very nice though.. fish tanks are sweet.. I like them with lots of live plants. And.. not really in a fish tank but...I had a nice female Veiled Chameleon a few years ago.. she was very cool too.

    5/11/08, Some Panfish + Bonus

I'm not sure either how, but It somehow takes away the smell of pretty much anything, I've used it with cleaning fish i think once, but my gf uses it all the time when cooking, and she likes it. She still uses regular soap to "wash" her hands too though... It's sold in fishing/camping isles...

Canadian Tire sells those "stainless steel soap bars" too. I got one for my gf to use in the kitchen for getting the garlic and onion smell off her hands.. It works really good..

    Anyone here keep aquarium fish?

I had a nice 35 gal set with tropicals up till about 6 months ago. Still have the tank and stuff but I had to take it down to make room for a baby crib... I need a bigger house so I can set it up again.. .lol And...I don't know how legal it was.. but I had 2- 4" walleye in it about 5 years ago...

what is the strangest looking fish you cought?

lol.. I think I would have feaked out too... my weirdest fish has to be a flounder I cought in Florida about 15 yrs ago ... really weird looking with both eyes on top of it's head and the sideways mouth... Apparently they are good eating, but I pitched it back.. it was only a little guy...

    no walleye .... but

I was using my Shimano baitcasting outfit with 12 lb mono. It's good enough for early in the year when I troll for eyes... but I usually like to switch it up to 17lbs when the weeds come up and I start casting the bigger baits for pike....
