I went out to put out a trail camera (hunting camera) can since I was close to my fav bass and perch Lake I stoped in for a quick 1.5 hour fish from shore, to try out my flys I tied, well My flys suck and I endded up with 2 bass for supper. one around 3 pounds and 1 around 2 pounds.

I have caught bass mid summer with egg-roe in them as well, I just assumed they did not spawn for some odd reason. As for a second spawning season in fall. perhaps, bass could be evolving in that water body to have a 2nd spawn or maybe as Giuga10 said maybe they start this early getting...

Streamers and Poppers are what I would use for Bass, Purple Leech I think in a size 6 works good for me on Bass and Rock Bass even caught afew sunfish on them. Murddle Minnow(spellings off) in Size 4 or 6 also work Minnow like streamers work well too I can not find minnow streamers over 3...
