    Credit Conditions?

The Credit is still frozen/blown out. Above the erindale ice jam it's still solid, below the ice jam is becoming alot better but is currently browner than the soil we stand on. Give the credit 3-4 weeks to thaw and clear out the drain off. God i can't wait till april!.

    Lake simcoe Feb. 11th 2011

For white fish size 8 work's pretty well suit with chub's, also work's well for jumbo perch, and keep's the wee lil one's off the hook. I went out this weekend with the old man for a 24 hour ice fishing mission and it was slow!. One thing i forgot to check before going, is the lunar calendar. It...

    Lake simcoe Feb. 11th 2011

35-40ft seems to be a good hot spot for a variety of species. But i will give you one hint, that work's on many species. Northland Eyedropper's (yellow/green), not the popular tear drop's, with small minnow's off the hook (or perch eye's!).

    Cooks Bay Feb 13

There's bigger, trust me, it's scary. I was there on friday last week, 35-40 ft of water. The girlfriend pulled up a 13 inch just under a pound and a half. Wasn't really thinking about taking a picture, cause the iphone was dead, and we were hungry! But there are most certainly some monster...

Sooo the girlfriend and I went to do some ice fishing last week. Great condition's, great time's, and some great perch and whitefish! (seems like their trolling perch grounds). Enjoy. P.s. seems like yellow/green mix lures and blue line is the key, also don't forget your leader's!..

    Ice fishing gear, any suggestion?

Most hut operator's supply the bait and that's it. It would be best to call ahead and ask what their "tackle" entails. But a nice lil trick for pan fish is to use walleye blades, drill a second hole at the base of the blade, run about 10 inchs to a foot of fluro leader off of it, hook a minnow...

    Winter Fishing The Whirlpool

Honestly license, I love your camera! God darn i need an SLR. But sunday's ice made the fishing a bit difficult, also i think the fish were hanging out further away from shore, because the shoreline had some heavy reverse currents going on. Not a good place for a holding trout. I'm heading...

    Toronto Ice Fishing

Unfortunately there is a reason why the humber marsh says no skating or winter sports allowed on the ice, it's just not safe, the ice fails to get thick enough, but if your feeling risky bring emergency ice picks, and for added safety, find a large tree close to the water's edge, get a 100 ft...

    Fly tying equipment

Ummmm it's actually just called "basic fly tying kit" :S. But I'm pretty pleased with it, the free shipping on the posts is awesome, but remember taxes, and customs :( Either way it's a wicked lil hobby to pick up, and like riding a bike, or catching steelhead, once you know how to do it, you...

    Credit River January 11th 2011
