Went to meaford today, not the greatest day but decent. Hit a bunch of cookie cutters, lost one decent fish and did lots of footwork. Got permission to fish some private land so that was the best part of the trip.

gotta love reasonable landowners.....this one guys whos lawn we fish off said it best... you gotta fish where the fish are.theres this wicked pool on the 4th but the guys a dick and doesnt let anyone fish his neighbor is retired and watches through the day .gonna hit it with a canoe then wade it. i'm prettysure its considered navigable

Need MOARR!!!!
-Only got out for a few hours on Sunday and it was a tough one (wind was horrible!).. Only managed 4 bows in the first hour, than landed a chunky brown 20 min before I had to leave.. no pics as my Cam's battery died,

Post up your catch(s) so we can live vicariously through you,

went today before the rain 1/3 in an hour fishin. got one just as it started raining then rushed my way across the river before the water levels got higher. This rain is what we need

The back fin of most fish is stiff and sharp. Have seen several fish dead because of the fin of the prey stuck in their throat.

Makes sense, good to know that gobies have sharp dorsal fins, I did not realize this before.

Well, if you or anyone else wants to access the 'forbidden areas' via a canoe, I have a canoe and all the gear---rearin' to go! ,

Got this beauty in Bronte today. Couldn't believe how intense the red stripe was on this one! The pictures don't do it justice. Totally surprised me when it hit. I was bored and drifted my trout bead through some rapids and BAM!

Beauty, looks like very accurate camouflage on that fish! Amazing when they get that deep red colour, I've seen it on some browns this fall too.

That is one awesome coloured steelhead, like he's ready for spawning now. Great shots too. Thanks for the share !

Still trying to figure out how to put up pics with my iPhone!

Can not post with I phone. The pictures are to high in pixels. Try emailing yourself and change the pic resolution lower then transfer it to off. After you lower just make sure you safe it I had a hard time trying but did it.

LOL I was going to post something along the lines of "who was it that thought rainbows are boring?" but I stopped myself. That is definately one amazing looking bow, im assuming that must be a wild fish? I still dont have the ability to tell the difference between a wild fish and a stocker.

You cant see all of the fins in the pics. Some members on the forum said that you can obviously tell between a clone stocker and a wild fish, in this situation it seems pretty obvious but i'm pretty sure I wouldnt have a clue with other less obvious cases.

was out today got my first (lake) brown! X2 yay
got pics of the female, but cant load it, to many pic all ready
