Hello fellow musky anglers.
My name is Lawrence Skinner and I am a Muskies Canada (MCI) member from Collingwood and I am interested in starting a new MCI chapter in Barrie that would serve the Simcoe county and Muskoka regions. We have many people interested and we have been trying to get organized and move forward. We will be holding a meeting at 8pm Monday February 11th at The Clarkson Pub. It's a great venue right across the street from Lake Simcoe (Historic musky fishery currently being restored). If you are an avid musky angler from the area come to the meeting and meet some new people that share your interests. This meeting will be an informal meet and greet where we will discuss getting the chapter off the ground. This will eventually lead to tall tales about long fish and a really good time.
The pub is about 5 minutes off HWY 400 and there is plenty of free parking across the street by the lake. They have good food and lots of taps. I have included a link that shows the pub's location. My link
Thanks and see ya there.
Lawrence
