Hey everyone, this is Mike from Richmond Hill. I've been fishing since the frist time my grandfather took me out when I was about 4-5, making it a great pastime over the last 26 years. I love fishing for bass, but this year my goal is to get into some decent sized pike. I'm looking forward to learning and sharing knowledge with a like-minded group of people in the Toronto area!!!!

Greetings,

Adam here...from the States. I live in Washington, Pennsylvania...near Pittsburgh. I love to get up to the summer cottage near North Bay about 2 or 3 times each summer. Love the hearty bass fishing up there, and the notherens. A crappy day fishing is better than a productive day at work!! I love the beauty and nature of Ontario, and would move up there in a heart beat! Around here, i usually fish for crappies, bluegills, bass, and wally's. I heard about the Ontario FIsh Forums from just using a search engine (yahoo). I look forward to visiting this site frequently. Have a great day, eh!

Hi
I'm Alex from Thornhill. I first tried fishing last summer over at Orangeville. Looking forward to this year's season.

Hi. I'm Dave from Mississauga. I grew up fishing in Gravenhurst and then Orillia. I usually target the Kawartha's for smallies. I'm looking for some local spots to spend a few hours after work this summer...now that i've moved to Mississauga.

Hi all,

Ken here from Toronto. I fish mainly for bass both small and large mouths, but sometimes I get some of the smaller pan fish. I love to fish except I don't have a lot of time to leave the city. I want to try for Walleyes and crappies as well. any advice would be much appreciated. also looking for good fishing spots in and around the GTA.

Cheers,

Hi All,

My name is Colleen and I haven't been fishing for a few years. My boyfriend has a place up near Gravenhurst with a river right behind it and loves fishing when he goes up on the weekends - so I have dusted off (literally) my rod and will be back in the game soon! I have already picked up my conservation license and the fishing book.

We are going fly fishing for the first time the second week of May - near Guelph somewhere - We will be with a guide. I am a wondering how warmly I should dress - especially what I should be wearing on my feet. Any suggestions. (Be nice, newbie, here...)

Cheers,

Colleen

Hey everyone, I'm Kris and I'm finally getting back into fishing after having taken many years off! My 5 year old son has asked about learning to fish, so I can't wait to take him. I live in Bowmanville, and haven't been here for long, and I'm happy I found this site as what little I've already looked at is getting me in the spirit!

If anybody has suggestions for a good place in the area to teach new young wannabe fishermen, I'd be only to happy to know about it! I can't wait to take my son out, but I don't want him to get bored!

I am new to Canada but not so new as I was landed during the month of July 2005. Before coming to Canada, I had read that the country is surrounded by lakes and rivers and a lot and variety of finshes are there. I love fishing since my childhood as I used to go for fishing with my dad.
Is some one can help by suggesting me where in Toronto or around I can go for fishing using the TTC as I don't drive at present.
I have found about this site while I was searching Craig's list.

Hi everyone. I'm Chris from Toronto. I like to fish for pretty much anything freshwater and even the odd saltwater fish. I'm hoping to get a lot this year and look forward to using my new boat (14 foot princecraft with a 9.9 merc). I'm usually around the Buckhorn/Lovesick/Stony Lakes area but try new places as often as I can.
