No Salmon staging off Western tribs yet

I spent Friday and Saturday morning trolling off the Western Lake Ontario shore (am I allowed to be more specific about location?) in my kayak. Skunked both days. Only saw two salmon jump approx. 3 km offshore. Talked to a few other boats and they were having the same luck.

As far as i know west is a complete failure so far

Put boat in at Credit Saturday at dawn, trolled for hours, from 40' to 300'... nada. A great deal of time and money wasted.

Water temp of western tribe 74 degrees. Need a cool down. Was there this morning....skunked....oh well.

dont know about lake o....but they are running hard in the east tribs already. Saw a nice bunch when I was out friday, one guy next to be caught a nice male, and showed pics of a huge brown he got last week
