Your photos are always soo bright and clear! What type of bird is the red headed one (first photo)?? The bird on the feeder looked cold! Thanks.

the red, black and white bird is a type of wood pecker looks like they call it a red bellied, the little small bird is a tufted titmouse, the black and white one is another type of wood pecker looks like they call them downy :)

Thanks. You sure know your birds!

fishingnoob they have a poster up at the park with the more frequent birds, but i still had to google to get the names correct. That tufted titmouse took me about three or four trips to get that shot, when they hit the feeder they are in and out so quick. thanks chase, i will keep adding when i can.

so went out for a hike in the woods this afternoon, got some pics of a few deer and a couple birds a female cardinal and robin.I had to add the robin since he had this look like this is not spring weather, it was brisk today.

Nice pics through out the thread FishChris. I like them all, they are very good.
Deer are very resilient and curious. I couple years ago I was doing some work at CFB Kingston. The building we were working on had a crab-apple tree on the front lawn. The Deer where out there all day long even though the firing range was 100 ft away and guns were going off continuously.
I like all the bird and turtle pics too.

Alfie.

so went back out hiking in the woods, the wind and water haven't been so good for fishing right now, so photography it is for now. Here are some from this afternoon.
