with all the new fuss on Megas bass and the Japanase lure that in my opinion WAYYY! Overpriced.

I was wondering...how many of you used one of those Expensive jerbait...I'm not talking Rapala's or Live targets. I'm talking stick baits that are over 20$

IMHO those lure manufactures are just laughing their asses off at the market and the people who purchase those lures...but thats me.

Not me I'm a frugler. $8 would be my cut-off for stick baits, even then I'm reluctant. When CT had a sale on Matzuo cranks 3 for $12 I only got 1 pack of deep divers. I'm with you on the marketing and laughing all the way to the bank. The manufacturers have some of us hook line and sinker. Probably 80% of the lures out there are catching anglers and not fish.......lol.

If I could afford it I would. Most ive spent is 14 on Live Target Lures, and I only spent that because of the detailed anus.

ummm, Grubler.... 8 bills is putting you, my good friend, into the high end of the Frugler class.... Next you will want steak instead of Kraft Dinner.... did I mention a certain 4 buck plug yet that shall remain nameless for fear of sounding like I'm dishing out shameless promotion for a certain big box tackle store??? Don't make me say it!

:D

Ok, I try to be a frugler but I got to admit. I've spent up to 10 dollars on a lure. It was a hand made crank bait made by a reservation native. Never caught me any fish but looks good in the tackle box. Lol

lol Noobs... i want one of those! Awesome, eh! I'm willing to bend the Frugler Oath to acquire one

the most I've spent on a lure was $26 that was for a 7.5" Polish Perch by HRT Lures and it doesn't even have a detailed anus lol (poke poke NADO) I'm afraid to put this one in the water for fear of getting it snagged and loosing it, i don't even wanna think about loosing an $80 lure, but i guess you musky fishermen pretty much have to spend quite a bit, lures are huge rods and reels are heavy duty....

*bites lip over "detailed anus" remark*

:D

.... omg I'm dyin' again :D

tonight I think I'm gonna crack a cold one and detail the anuses on my plugs... ya never know eh?!

My strip of aluminum foil on a jig head is available for anyone who wants one for $20, just drop me a PM.....

Wow...a couple of outings and you'll have to mortgage the house...

What Detailed Anus?? I had a look at EVERY Lure they sell.

Unless they started using Prep H in the last few days Your "Detailed Anus" Ain't there, other than what looks like a "Little Pimple"

Is this the Perch Thing AGAIN and the "Inflammed Gills"??

QUOTE:"There are certain things that trigger the instinctual characteristics of predatory fish. For an example the live target perch I got recently has a swollen/red/black anus as well as inflamed gills. The anus shows what happens when a fish has an issue in its intestinal tract and the inflamed gills show issues with oxygen intake - either of these being present spell out an easy meal for a fish. I haven't used it yet but I love pulling it out of its package and showing people the irritated anus lol".

Live Target has ONE PERCH. Bass Pro sells it for $12.99.
