SNAGGERS

I'm gonna start bringing my taser on outings ... walk up behind the guy discharge a taser then stealthy walk off into the woods   ... maybe then those ignorant to the laws would get a clue probably not though

I used to think banning roe would solve this issue but it wouldn't. It would save a few fish from being harvested for sure however its not going to stop these meat hunters. Lets not forget this is table fare with Canadian salmon caviar on the side. Banning roe isn't going to prevent a snagger from snagging fish. Enforce the rules, run a few blitz's a year, get the word out on the rivers that the MNR does not mess around and things will improve...

agreed, this seems to be the "Canadian" way to enforce, like the honor system. But the problem begins with enforcing the rules heh

Honestly, when I go out fishing I am always anal about having my fishing license on me and everything. I always get so worried when I misplace it. I just don't want to have any issues with not having it when confronted by an MNR officer.

It is funny I am afraid of something so small when stuff like ridiculous snagging happens. Where are these MNR officers? I know it would cost a lot to have an officer on the river all the time. For the hundreds of times I have been on the water, I have never seen an MNR officer.

Are they out busting honest anglers for forgetting their licenses? Shouldn't we be cracking down hard on these Salmon poachers?

snipers---snipers will resolve this--nothing personal-long range---one shot one kill--no more issueslol

Why don't MNR give every angler a tag for each poacher we submerge on water...I dread the day when I stop fishing and just start snagging poachers....but if this won't stop...that day will soon be here.

Sorry buck but that camo isn't gonna cut it. He's missing fishing line, beer cans, empty hook packets and slit males, only then will he blend in.
