This last fish I find has different characteristics to all other Steelhead in my photo library.

It has an unusual colour , the eyes are very pronounced , the mouth and belly are not white , the sides are not silver ...most of all though, the spots are haloed by a lighter ring around the black spots ...

Yeah, it seems different. Although spawning in different times, could it have some "Brown" genes?

Thanks for sharing......

By the way, how up the hook do you keep the bead?

they're both nice fish but I can't believe how different they look to one an other...are they both out of the same river system?

Yes, the fish came from the same system, the top one is a coloured up buck and the second is a hen that probably wasn't in the system for too long.

f^d, Brown Town is correct  Brown Town is situated within the city limits of Snagcentral, in between Looganville, Flossen and Idiotborough. There was some sort of festival happening there while we enjoyed our stay, if my mind serves me right it was called Roe HarvFest. The name was quite fitting  Come for the fish, leave with orange gold... the theme for this year : Rape, pillage and plunder

Andrew, that has to be one of the most beautiful brown pictures I have ever seen. Fantastic shot
