Hello.

Just would like to know...

What brand/model digital camera do you have ?

I have the original 1st generation Canon Digital Rebel DSLR.
I also have a Samsung Digimax V5 (broken, drains battery instantly for no reason). Shopping around to buy me a new point & shoot.

i use a Canon SD630. i'm looking to replace it soon with another Canon that has the IS feature. maybe the SD870IS or SD1100IS.

I've got a canon sd700is p&s and my nikon d200 DSLR.

If you're looking for a good p&s I'd recommend the canon's similiar to mine, the vibration reduction works great for low light and it's a breeze to use. I waited several years before I found this camera that I was happy with and am well satisfied, as is the wife who uses it more than I do.

I have an older Canon PowerShot A95 bought it in late 04, I'm looking for a newer one thinking about getting a Canon Powershot SX100IS. Reviews seem good I don't want to spend more the $300 for now. Anyone have any other suggesitons? for a good camera under $300?

Thx

Well...

Thin & Slim are nice but I want something that use "AA" batteries. I want something that I can shoot videos aswell.
Casio's Exlim? can shoot video in H.264 format which is awesome but! damned thing is limited to 10minutes only. Plus... battery won't last long enough to shoot long video too.

I am thinking of Canon PowerShot 720IS $189 I think. I don't mind slight bulk in size.

I currently have a Casio Exilim ex-s600. Had a SD400 before that. I like the Canon much better and will get something with an IS feature for my next.

I have an HP too, a photosmart model R717, 6.2 mexapixels

.. takes good pics and videos as long as you want them.

Canon SD1000, very nice camera imo
this is a very popular camera among the people i know
worth the $ =)

$180 at Futureshop/BestBuy only too !

Not bad.. but it's $150 at walmart, along with the SD750 as well. What a steal! :?:.

For those who are looking for a new digital camera, this is a must-have at this price.

*Edit: Also, i believe you can price beat this camera at FS/BB, making it about only $135!!

The SD1000 looks nice but lacks IMage stabilization and I'd prefer AA batteries to a recharge one that way you can be anywhere and just put in new batteries if needed. Overall not bad for the price tho.

Thanks

Yes, it is some amazing price that it makes you want to get another.
Anyways, like I was saying before... I also prefer AA batteries. That is why I am thinking of Canon PowerShop A720IS $190 @ BB

$150? When? Where?

I just bought the Cannon PowerShot A570 IS. I ended up getting it for under $100, so I can't complain. :(

I'm looking to buy a DSLR this summer. I'm thinking about getting the new Cannon EOS Rebel XSi... just waiting for the price to drop a little. :?:
