Best Place To Fish In Canada(from shore)

The area you live in has good fishing overall, although if you head a few hours north there is slightly less fishing pressure. I drive 11 hours to go fish a 5 or so hours north of you and it would be considered amazing by southern ontario standards but there is better fishing even further north...

    Craigleith Park

Actually the boats I saw were probably targeting bass. You will need downriggers for the lakers and other parts of the lake might be more productive but you can fish pike and bass out from collingwood

The Laws Surrounding Watercraft and Alcohol...

Informative write up, thanks for sharing. I have a question if you don't mind. So say we are on a boat drinking that has washroom's and is at anchor. Do the cops have the same right to tear the vessel down? Or would probable cause of some form be required to do a thorough search of lower decks...

The under rated brawlers of the shallows (channel cats)

    Fishing Sponsorship Help

NPS is BS noobs spot burning, most sponsorship deals are BS IMO aswell. I make a point of never listening to anything someone sponsored says about their product. Any dedicated angler could get multiple sponsorship deals with ease but many won't even consider it. Wonder why?

    Split shot pattern. Help please.

For years I fished a weight free leader but I did away with that some time ago, I now I often put more than one on my leader. For most of the water people fish on here (smaller slow moving creeks) I personally would rarely add shot

The tribs I fished often run with some color and didn't clear up until huron froze right over. I only fished very close or on the open lake so no current other than lake swells. Yeah almost all guys were plunking roe, while that accounted for some of my fish I got more jigging. I had so much fun...

    The Ultimate Photo Thread

I did that a bit but mostly the areas I fished were too deep and normally less than two feet of vis. One notable day they were cruising right under the ice in 12' of water and my buddy was hooking one after another on spey flies less than a foot under the ice.

Trout Season Around The Corner - Any Spot Suggestions

Alright so there's another thread on here about the north its regs and conditions and that's all cool but it takes how many guys here to pile on and drag the guy through the coals.
