Hello fellow fisherpeople, I was planning on going fishing on the predicted beautiful Saturday coming up and I was wondering which venue I should go to; Bluffer's Park or the Rouge River? Does anyone know the ice conditions at either place? Would it be too icy at Bluffers or no? Any thoughts...

Goldfish crackers all the way!

I have and have had a hedgehog, frogs, toads, lots of fish, various insects ,snails (both aquatic and garden), mice, hamsters and briefly, a gerbil.

Are the measurements on the website accurate? Because with my measurements, XXS would be too big.

Today I caught a baby pumpkinseed through the corners of both eyes. Through one corner and out the other. A few months ago my father hooked into a shoe that was filled with mud and three crayfish.

I don't think that it was a bowfin because he said that it was completely brown, had sandpaper-like teeth and no patterns

Unfortunately he didn't get a picture and he just asked me if I knew. He caught it off the end of his dock in more-or-less still water, with a worm I believe. He didn't say anything about it jumping, he just brought it partially out of the water to unhook it, but it definately not a smallmouth...

To me, the first picture looks like a creek chub, the second picture of a common shiner and then the yellow perch. Nice catches btw

Me and my friend are planning on visiting Grenadier Pond this weekend. I was wondering, what kind of fish live there? I have heard of bass, perch, sunfish and carp being caught there, but has anyone had any luck there recently? Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks

I didn't harm it in any way. It just swam away. Although it did come back twice and just stared at us for a couple seconds and disappeared
