Fixing a bottom section of a rod?

The rod is a simax exclusive, i have a lifetime warranty on it but my model has been discontinued, they can give me a cheaper version which regulars for 80, while mine costs 140, for 25 bucks but i really don't see the point as they would want my rod back. Heres a couple...

    Simax Rod warranty

Hi guys, i recently had a simax rod of mine brake after a fight with a small carp, shouldn't have broken as it was a med/heavy rod and i was taking my time with the fish, it wasn't very big either. The main reason i am posting is because i am trying t get a hold of them for the warranty, the...

    rockwood conservation

i used to fish it a while back a lot, my first time there i got a huge bass and a nice rainbow, that lucky streak ended next weekend, lol. Its not the best for fishing really, good spot to kayak, bass are the only thing worth fishing right now but they are OOS, lots of chubs and i used to see...

sheepies are very sensitive to fast temperature drops, thats the reason for the dead floaters, tons of them in the BOQ as well.

    Carp 2014

carp are totally different from walleye, walleye have no taste, id much rather take a jumbo or a laker over one, carp have a sweet taste to them and if marinated right they are very very tasty, just not from the GTA, if you get a clean carp and know exactly how to make it you will not be...

    Best waders for under 300$

i wold go with chest, you won't need it often unless you're like me, where you don't calm down until you walk into absolutely every part of the river, lol. They do come in handy when crossing rivers, fighting fish and sometimes you have no choice other than to wade in a pool, maybe to get a fish...

    Carp 2014

I usually bring a can or 2 of corn, some dough, some worms, if one thing doesn't work switch it up, i mainly chum with dough or corn, because you can throw lots in and cover a big area, if you plan on fishing just corn you may want some more but i usually don't use this much and i get at least...

    Carp 2014

I always fully cover my hook when fishing for carp, I've fished them with 50 lb line, they didn't seem to give a crap so i would say your line will be fine, carp come mostly for smell, chum the area to attract them, that way you will get a hit faster and keep a school near you. I find worms are...

    Carp 2014

i wouldn't be using a 6 lb leader for carp if i were you, by the time you get the fish in, it will be dead, use at least 10 lbs, I've done it with my 'pin setup before and its a blast just put a sinker and a couple hooks with leaders and some corn or worms and wait until one hits!

    Mono vs braid

I use fluro as well, in fact just a couple years ago i used 10 lb fluro for everything, bass, pike, carp, trout, etc. Then i started using 4 lb fluro for bass, (ya i know crazy, lol) then i switched to powerpro in 15 lb test and never looked back! I still use fluro for crappies, panfish, river...

    Float fishing questions

don't forget that drennan has a much thicker diameter then other brands for the same lb test, for example 6 lb drennan is the same as 8 lb sea guar, thats why you're experiencing less break offs, but its to the price of the leader being more visible to the fish.
