when i was in bronte on friday i started at petro park and I seen 2 browns pulled out and i got one salmon, so around 9:30 am i went up to hwy 5 and walked up a piece and i landed 4 or 5 salmon a brown about 6 pounds and also a rainbow around 4 pounds. i was seeing a few other rainbow and browns also.i walked down the river a bit too fishing the holes and got a few more salmon, but a guy tld me there was a couple browns and rainbows caught earlier.
but the creek had color and was dropping as i fishing it on friday. I heard by saterday the water did not have much color and dropped to the normal water levels for this time of year.
so yes they are there just got to find where they are holding and up around hwy 5 to the 427 is you best bet u til the next rain then they could be any were.
